Misters Unlimited™ Jets are designed to spray out as a cone. If mist from the jet is not coning (i.e. shooting a straight line or nothing is coming out), the jet is clogged. To clean, simply unscrew each jet and soak in CLR or Vinegar for 15-20 minutes, rinse-thoroughly with clean water and screw the jet back into fitting. If jet is still not working properly, place jet in a towel and tap the jet gently on a counter or floor. Calcium deposits may have developed inside the jet and this action should free up the tiny anti-drip ball inside.

The mineral content in water varies from region to region. For that reason, it is suggested that you check your filter each week to determine when and how often changing is needed. Replacement of your filter will vary, depending on the condition of water and hours of usage. Filter should be replaced approximately every 3 months (depending on use).

Replacing the filter is easy. Simply unscrew the clear filter canister, dispose of the used filter, rinse canister clean, replace with new filter and reattach new filter-canister to the Misters Unlimited™ Pump. There is no need to ever enter the sealed Mister Pump compartment.

It is suggested that the mist line be flushed with each filter cleaning. Remove one Misters Unlimited™ Jet at the end of the line and allow system to run freely for 1-3 minutes.

An annual "checkup" for the pump is recommended. This checkup should include changing the oil and the inline filter element.

Inline Filter elements are dependent on local water conditions, but at a minimum should be changed once each season. Filter elements can be ordered through MISTERS UNLIMITED™.

NOTE: If the installation is subject to freezing and is not in use, the system should be completely drained of water, including empting the filter canisters each fall and placed indoors for the winter.
